How long will it take for me to see profits after taking this course?
In all honesty, it is impossible to know because there are so many factors that come into play: what is your offer, who is your audience, the price point, marketing strategies, etc.

I can say that if all steps are followed in the bundle program, therapists can easily have their business up and running and ready to see clients in under 30 days (note: insurance credentialing can take longer if going that route with Headway or Alma).
I see a lot of coaches offering to teach me about how to start a private practice. How is what you offer any different?
I actively run and operate my own clinical private practice and non-clinical coaching businesses on a daily basis. Because of this, I am active in this community and will be teaching the exact methods I used to keep my practice up and running. I am a therapist with a passion for helping other therapists.
Do I need to purchase anything else to get my private practice up and running?
There are some state fees you you will be responsible for upon selecting a business structure and registering your business with the state.

I provided as many templates and video tutorials as I could without infringing on copywrite laws, however there are two areas in particular where someone may wish to supplement this course with additional resources.

In the section that discusses required paperwork for your practice, I discuss what is required for each piece of documentation. Though you could write these documents yourself, I highly recommended templates for the ease and comprehensive nature. I identify which templates I purchased and where I purchased them as well as additional options (options are all under $200, with most being under $100).

Additionally in the business structure section, I provide outside referrals for additional assistance in selecting/registering for your identified business structure. This recommendation is 100% optional and can be one on your own (as I did) but I wanted to provide a higher touch point option for those who prefer additional support.

Is owning a private practice actually profitable? I'm just not sure if it would be worth it.
Opening a private practice can be highly profitable, but it largely depends on various factors such as location, specialty, marketing strategy, and overhead costs. This is why when first starting out, I recommend doing a virtual office to keep expenses low.

I can speak for myself in that during my first year of private practice I was able to double my take home pay while working less hours. I greatly enjoy the greater autonomy in decision-making, flexibility in scheduling, and the opportunity to provide personalized care to my patients.

Ultimately, the profitability of opening a private practice will vary from one individual to another based on their unique circumstances and business acumen. While there is potential for high earnings in a private practice, it often requires a significant investment of time and resources to build a client base and establish credibility in the industry. So please do your research and soul searching before investing in any private practice adventures.

I don't have the time for this...
This is the exact reason why a virtual private practice is a great place to start. By opening your own practice you can set your own schedule and work as much or as little as you like.

That being said, it is still a business and requires work. I built my practice on the weekends and after work, averaging about 15hrs a week to get things up and running. A lot of this was initial set up (i.e. registration, policy creation, paperwork drafting), that is "one and done." Once you get through the first 30 days, the majority of your time goes into clinical work and marketing (depending on how aggressive your marketing plans are).
How much time will I need to dedicatee to my practice to make it profitable?
The amount of time you need to dedicate to your practice in order to make it profitable can vary depending on several factors. It is important to consider the type of practice you have, your level of expertise, the demand for your services, and the overall market conditions. Generally speaking, starting a new practice may require more time initially as you work on building your client base and establishing a reputation.

Speaking for myself, I started my private practice in the 2-3hrs after working my fulltime job and ultimately grew it into a 30hr a week business. I ran it as a side hustle for a few months as a built a financial nest egg in preparation for the leap to go full time (side note: when I started it was the middle of the COVID-19 pandemic so I was exceptionally cautions of building a STRONG financial cushion.)

In order to make your practice profitable, it is essential to invest time in marketing and networking to attract clients. Additionally, focusing on providing high-quality services and building strong relationships with your clients can help generate repeat business and referrals. As you gain experience and your practice grows, you may be able to streamline processes and delegate tasks, allowing you to spend less time on administrative duties and more time on revenue-generating activities.

Ultimately, the key is to stay dedicated and continuously assess and adjust your strategies to ensure long-term profitability.
Can it really be done in 30 days or less?
Yes. As a solo practice owner, starting out with a virtual office and not paneled with insurance you can absolutely get your practice up and running in 30 days or less.

Where therapists often find extended timelines are in 1) insurance credentialing -- that is why I recommend Headway to fast-track this, and 2) selecting a physical office location.
What if I only need one piece of the bundle? Can I break up the set and purchase only what I need?
No. The bundle is designed to be used as a complete set therefore you are unable to purchase individual components. If you are looking for a more customized education plan I recommend reaching out so we can set up a private coaching session.
I want to open a group practice (with employees and/or 1099 contractors)? Will this information help me too?
Though the basics of opening a business are universal, this bundle is not designed with the group practice owner in mind. This bundle is designed through my experiences as a private practice owner of a single member LLC and is heavily oriented towards the steps needed to duplicate this result. I would not recommend this program for group practices.
I am not a NJ Social Worker. Will this apply to me?
I believe so however it is impossible for me to know with 100% certainty the regulations required for your specific state and license. My recommendation would be to look at the bundle course curriculum and compare it to your specific state/license regulations.
